Texts From Jesus app for iPhone and iPad
Who hasnt wanted to hear from Jesus once in awhile? How about every day? Now you can, and not just in the King James version but also as Modern English.
All messages come from the New Testament, as well as optionally from some gnostic texts such as the Gospel of Thomas.
This app is free but ad-supported. Ads can be removed through a simple in-app purchase.
Please note that the style of quotes can be selected by touching the "i" button in the lower right corner of the main screen. The hour of delivery for daily texts can also be adjusted in the Settings app under "Jesus Texts".

I love this app, however I dont speek gangster so some of the wordings are random... I as well wish there were references to the verses, I love how it feels like a message straight from the heart of yehwh. its beautiful

This app is wonderful. When im in doubt, stressed and need guidance from my creator I often flip this app open and offer up a moment of devotion to ground myself. Try this app! if you find it hard to always make time for prayer this will help enormously :)

This app is definitely worth it. It helps keep me going during the day with an inspirational text sent to me based off of when I set the time it delivers the msg to me every day. Absolutely love it! Good job
Some bad moments
I enjoyed this for a while until I started getting texts that were not from the Bible and didnt even make sense. I finally had to delete the app. I would not recommend this app.
The concept is good, but please use only quotes from the Bible; i.e. gospel of Thomas is a fake document. It is not in the Bible!
This app closes on me as soon as I open it. Has been doing this for MONTHS and the developers are not fixing it. Even the latest updates dont correct it. Any other positive reviews must be fake! Shame.
It is nice to have this app because it is nice to have it at a glance to see the word of God flash up before you and you can read it daily with the thumbing through anything.
How normal is it for everyone to grab their phone first thing in the morning and look at Facebook or check their favorite game. But now I get to read the word first thing! Love it!
The Gnostic Gospels killed it for me. Why on earth are they in there???
